We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in expanding our presence in the market, identifying new business opportunities, and driving strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, partners, and new business opportunities within the aerospace, defense, automotive, and other key industries.
Develop & Execute Strategies: Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's growth goals.
Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers across potential clients and partners.
Lead Sales Process: Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closing of contracts.
Client Presentations: Deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, articulating the value proposition of ModAsfa’s services and solutions.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, and use this knowledge to drive ModAsfa’s positioning in the marketplace.
Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure proposals and solutions are aligned with client needs and ModAsfa’s capabilities.
Manage Key Accounts: Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and successful project delivery by managing relationships with existing clients and ensuring their needs are met.
Report on Business Development Progress: Track and report on business development activities, including sales pipeline, opportunities, and targets.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the engineering, aerospace, or defense sectors.
Understanding of engineering services, including MBSE and systems safety, and how they apply to client needs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers and influence outcomes.
Ability to develop and execute business strategies and achieve revenue and growth targets.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in business development or sales within the Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive industries.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Safety services.
Experience with government contracting or working with large corporate clients.
Knowledge of the procurement process and compliance requirements in engineering and defense industries.
Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, German) is a plus.
